Designing a poster for this event was challenging. The show was about the African ancient culture, and all the mystical things attached, while keeping a pop vibe to the poster. I chose the name “Yakichawi” for the event because it means magical in Swahili language, which reflects what this show really feels like. The background colors were taken from the mask colors, and the font was chosen to match the culture.
